BürgerReise (“the App”) is an educational quiz application designed to help users prepare for the German Citizenship exam and/or the Leben in Deutschland test.
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
The App does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data on external servers.
Specifically:
No user accounts
No login or registration
No names, emails, phone numbers, or identifiers
No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs
No data is accessible to the developer
The App stores the following information locally on your device only:
Selected exam date
Selected federal state (Bundesland)
Exam preparation progress data, including:
The date and result (correct/incorrect) of the last five attempts per question
A calculated preparedness score expressed as a percentage
This data:
Never leaves your device
Is not shared with any third party
Cannot be accessed by the developer
Is permanently deleted if you uninstall the App
The App does not share any data with third parties.
All stored data remains locally on your device and is protected by the operating system’s standard security mechanisms. Since no data is transmitted or stored externally, there is no risk of server-side data breaches.
The App does not knowingly collect any personal data from children or adults. The App contains only educational content and does not require personal information to function.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date.

By downloading, installing, or using BürgerReise (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App is provided for educational and informational purposes only.
The App is intended as a study aid and does not guarantee success in any official examination, including but not limited to:
The German Citizenship exam
The Leben in Deutschland test
While reasonable efforts are made to keep the question database, answers, and explanations accurate and up to date:
The content may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect
Official exam content, structure, or requirements may change at any time
Preparedness scores are estimates only
The developer makes no warranties or guarantees, express or implied, regarding:
Accuracy of questions or answers
Exam relevance
Exam outcomes
User success or failure
The preparedness score shown in the App:
Is a calculated estimate based on user interaction
Does not represent official evaluation or certification
Does not guarantee that a user will pass any exam
A user may achieve a high preparedness score and still fail an official exam. The developer assumes no liability for exam results.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any:
Exam failure
Lost opportunities
Damages or losses arising from reliance on the App’s content
Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the App
Use of the App is entirely at your own risk.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.” The developer does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or future updates.
All content within the App, including text, questions, and design elements, is the property of the developer unless otherwise stated and may not be reproduced without permission.
The developer reserves the right to discontinue or modify the App at any time without notice.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
